US men’s national team players have issued a scathing indictment of their national team’s current performance, which they believe is too aggressive and too negative.
“The USMID is too fast, too aggressive, too loud,” Clint Dempsey said on Friday after the US’s 3-0 loss to Belgium in their World Cup qualifier at San Jose Earthquakes stadium.
“We’re not getting enough credit.
The biggest threat is the national team.
They are the biggest threat to us.”
The US won the first two matches, then went into the third match, and scored twice in the shootout.
Dempsey and the rest of the team was frustrated and frustrated.
“I’m not saying it’s the worst thing we’ve ever done, but it’s not what I wanted to see,” Dempsey said.
“It’s not good enough.
It’s not a good enough team.
It has to change.
That’s all I can say.
I just want us to play better.”
Dempsey and his teammates are not alone.
The USMid had a 1-1 draw with Italy on Tuesday, and are just two points off the top of Group B. The next match is Saturday in Montreal.
The US has won the last two meetings with Belgium, winning 4-0 in the 2015 World Cup and 5-1 in 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
But Dempsey and his team are not letting it get away from them.
They have been playing their best soccer in a way that has not been seen in years.
Dempsey has been called “The Dempsey of the World” and is the leading scorer in USMids history with 13 goals in his last 14 matches.
“This team is unbelievable,” Dempsey told reporters.
“We’ve been playing so well the last three games and we have a lot of confidence and a lot more motivation than the last few weeks.
I think the game has been so good that we feel like we can take it to the next level.
We’re not the team that we were last year, but I think we’re ready for it.”
Demo, who scored four goals in the first match, is a key piece of the US attack and has been an essential part of their success.
He has seven goals in 12 matches and has scored more than one goal in eight of those games.
He also has six assists.
“There’s no one better than Clint Dempsey,” Clint said.
“It’s really easy to see what he does when he’s playing with the ball in his hands.
It gives you a lot to think about and when he has the ball, he makes you better.”
Clint Dempsey scored four in the US-Belgium match, scoring three goals.
The goal he scored was his first of the season.
